Melissa Fulson created Studio Blue, LLC in 2017. She spent the previous 24 years working in the architectural and interior design field with emphasis on commercial and residential based projects and most recently worked for a large luxury senior and condominium housing developer and owner. Her specialties include luxury senior housing, multi-family, restaurant, hospitality, office and residential design and procurement.

 

As a full-service designer and a real estate professional, Melissa guides clients through the process of design with a holistic approach using the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual parts of design. Senior housing and multi-family are much more about creating a lasting home for the residents that has enhanced environments that meet the needs of the residents. Melissa has worked for owners directly and understands what happens behinds the scenes with the projects and what both the end users and owners need. The design of residences and multifamily housing is something that Melissa is very passionate about and believes that these are lasting facilities that are people's homes, that build a community and make life better for the residents.​

 

Melissa holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Minnesota in Interior Design and a Master's of Science from the University of Minnesota in Design with an emphasis on Psychology. We also hold a General Contractors license in the state of Minnesota.  She has been an educator and believes in great communication and service. She holds a certification since 2001 from the NCIDQ which is the National Council for Interior Design Qualification and she is a licensed Minnesota real estate professional and Master Gardener.

 

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys cooking and gardening and holds a Master Gardeners licenses.
